Brompton’s range of Tessera processors (SQ200, SX40, S8, and S4) scales from budget-friendly installs to the largest, most complex LED volumes. The next-generation SQ200 introduces a Gen-3 architecture with 8K input support, ST 2110 and IPMX AVoIP workflows (including ST 2022-7 redundancy), dual 100G Ethernet inputs for seamless failover, and advanced colour control with 33×33×33 3D LUTs — all while remaining backwards-compatible with existing Tessera receiver cards and distribution units. For panel-side performance, the multi-award-winning Tessera G1 receiver card brings a step-change in processing power and 10 Gb fibre direct to the panel, enabling the next wave of ultra-fine-pitch displays.
What sets Brompton apart is its imaging toolset for on-camera excellence and panel optimisation. Dynamic Calibration (enabled using the Hydra measurement system) unlocks true HDR performance with higher brightness, wider colour gamut, and superb uniformity. TrueLight® adds spectrally aware control for RGBW panels to deliver natural skin tones when LED walls are used as light sources. ShutterSync® and Frame Remapping solve multi-camera and refresh-timing challenges, while features like Ultra Low Latency, HFR+, and Extended Bit Depth ensure smooth, artefact-free pictures at low brightness and high frame rates.
