Carbonite Ultra Solo

Carbonite Ultra Solo offers exceptional production capabilities in a compact, affordable footprint, making it an ideal choice for HD/UHD flypacks, space-constrained production facilities, or mobile units. ULTRIX-MOD-NDI

The ULTRIX-MOD-NDI is a sub-module for the ULTRIX-MODX-IO card, supporting up to four NDI streams at 720p, 1080i, or 1080p.

That’s right—Ultrix now offers native NDI I/O, eliminating the need for external conversion devices. This module coexists with any other MODX sub-module, Ultrix I/O card, and the SDPE card.

With SDI, ST 2110, MADI, Dante, and now NDI, Ultrix solidifies its position as a transport-agnostic media processing platform.

NDI is presented as standard I/O ports within Ultrix, making it easily routable and accessible to internal processing features including Ultriproc, Ultriscape multiviewers, Ultrix Carbonite and Acuity, etc.

OSG-8971

The OSG-8971 is Ross’s new openGear SRT gateway card offering six total channels, each configurable as an input or output.

The card supports up to six channels of 720p/1080p or two channels of UHD, providing industry-leading density with up to 20x UHD or 60x 720p/1080p channels per 2RU oGX frame. Each video path supports up to eight audio channels, and frame genlock for frame-synchronized decoder outputs—an important feature for professional productions that many competitors lack.

While 1080i is not yet supported, a future firmware update will add this capability.

The OSG-8971 is ideal for point-to-point (REMI) and ground-to-cloud (G-C-G) applications with Ross’s softGear streaming gateway (SSG) running as a cloud instance. This shifts the role of SSG to a cloud-based product, with the OSG-8971 being the on-premises, hardware SRT solution.

Vision[Ai]ry

Vision[Ai]ry Facial Tracking and Body Tracking is the first in a suite of products that uses video analytics to automate the functions of a camera operator. Vision[Ai]ry uses AI-based facial and body detection to locate and track the position of faces and bodies within the video stream directly from the camera.

It then uses these facial and body positions to drive the pan, tilt and zoom axes of the robotic camera system to maintain the desired framing of the face/faces or body/bodies in the image. This eliminates the need for a camera operator to manually adjust for the position of the subject in the image.
