Telestream sharpens focus on ST 2110 monitoring and hybrid orchestration

Telestream arrived at NAB Show 2026 with a strong focus on monitoring, orchestration, and what they describe as “Practical AI” across hybrid broadcast environments.

One of the standout areas was Pulse, Telestream’s software-based monitoring platform for ST 2110 workflows. Designed to provide centralised visibility across multiple streams and systems, Pulse effectively delivers the equivalent of multiple PRISM monitoring instances within a single web-based interface, giving operators a clearer and more scalable view of complex IP infrastructure.

Alongside Pulse, Telestream also showcased UP.Lens for cloud observability and deeper integration with Mimir for automated ingest and media workflows. Together, the platforms aim to simplify operations across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments while improving metadata handling, quality control, and orchestration.

The broader message from Telestream was less about AI hype and more about operational practicality. At a show full of big AI claims, their focus on real-time monitoring, actionable metadata, and usable workflow automation felt grounded in the day-to-day realities broadcasters are actually dealing with.
