TAG introduces LENS workflow visualisation platform

At NAB Show 2026, TAG Video Systems expanded its MCS platform with the introduction of LENS, a new visualisation tool designed to help operators better understand and manage increasingly complex media workflows.

Built into the MCS 1.7.0 platform, LENS provides a more intuitive view of system relationships, stream paths, and infrastructure dependencies across broadcast environments. As workflows continue shifting toward highly distributed IP and cloud-based architectures, maintaining operational visibility is becoming just as important as monitoring signal quality itself.

The platform is designed to help engineering and operations teams identify issues faster, simplify troubleshooting, and better understand how systems interact across large-scale deployments. Rather than relying on isolated monitoring points, LENS aims to provide a broader operational view of the entire environment.

The launch reflects a growing industry trend toward smarter operational tools as broadcast infrastructure becomes more virtualised, distributed, and software-defined. Monitoring is no longer just about detecting faults. It is about understanding workflow behaviour in real time.
