The new compact, 8-channel V-80HD Direct Streaming Video Switcher covers comprehensive video needs for in-person events, livestreaming, studio production, and more. And using the companion Graphics Presenter software, easily add impressive titles, motion graphics, and more to enhance your productions.
All the I/O you need
The V-80HD has plenty of versatile I/O to cover a range of connection needs.
Eight channels allow for seamless switching for up to four HDMI and four SDI input sources, including two with 4K scaling. Additionally, an SRT input can be assigned to a cross-point button together with an SDI and HDMI input.
Multiple assignable outputs—including two SDI, three HDMI, USB-C streaming, and LAN (RTMP/SRT)—put a pro video matric at your disposal. Plus, the V-80HD supports SRT (Secure Reliable Transport), an open-source standard for AVoIP for secure encrypted audio and video.
New Graphics Presenter software with Powerful Video Effects
The V-80HD provides tools to easily elevate presentations with impressive video effects and graphics.
The powerful effects engine has five composition layers, including split-screen, two PinP windows with key composition, and one DSK with fill/key composite support.
Graphics Presenter is a professional title and motion graphics solution that's designed for use with select Roland video switchers.
This free, easy-to-use software for Windows computers elevates your live productions with stunning graphics, eliminating the need for expensive third-party options. Simply call up one of the many included preset templates and customize it as needed. With Roland’s unique technology, you can instantly send the fill and key signals directly to V-80HD via a single HDMI cable.
The software and over 100 templates are also compatible with other select Roland switchers and free to download from Roland Cloud.
Secure AV Transmission with SRT
The v-80HD support SRT (secure reliable transport), and open-source standard for AVoIP that provides secure encrypted audio and video transmission over IP networks. It also offers future-proof connectivity within installed system configurations. SRT allows you to seamlessly extend your V-80HD production capabilities via LAN or an internet connection.
Professional Audio Mixing and Effects
The V-80HD features 28 channels of audio mixing plus a wide selection of processing tools, I/O routing options, and automation features. Plus, create individual audio mixes for in-person and online audiences with two auxiliary audio buses.
