At NAB Show 2026, Orban continued its push into IP-based broadcast workflows with a strong focus on ST 2110 integration and modern audio processing infrastructure.
A key part of that story is the OPTIMOD 5750-HD, designed to deliver Orban’s signature audio processing quality within increasingly IP-centric environments. With support for AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110-30 workflows, the platform allows broadcasters to integrate audio processing directly into modern networked production and playout systems.
For facilities transitioning away from traditional baseband infrastructure, that flexibility matters. Broadcasters are looking for solutions that maintain audio consistency and reliability while fitting cleanly into larger IP ecosystems, and Orban is clearly positioning the 5750-HD for exactly that role.
The move also reflects a broader trend across NAB this year. Once we got past all the AI hype, ST 2110 was still one of the dominant conversations on the show floor. Vendors like Orban are helping make that transition more practical, scalable, and operationally realistic for broadcasters working in hybrid environments.
