Lectrosonics Delivers Performance Upgrades Across Its D-Squared Wireless Range

Rather than waiting for an entirely new product generation, Lectrosonics continues to refine the products audio professionals already rely on.

Announced at NAB 2026, a series of updates to the D-Squared wireless range delivers improved battery life, enhanced receiver performance and greater overall system reliability, while maintaining compatibility with existing workflows.

Longer run time for the DSSM transmitter

The compact, waterproof DSSM digital transmitter now delivers more than 10% longer battery life, extending maximum operating time to over seven hours.

For production sound teams, that means fewer battery changes, less disruption during long shooting days and greater confidence when transmitters are hidden on talent. Combined with its IP57 waterproof rating and compact form factor, the DSSM remains a strong choice for demanding film, television and live production environments.

Enhanced DSR receiver performance

Lectrosonics has also updated its DSR two-channel and DSR4 four-channel digital slot receivers with revised circuitry designed to improve sensitivity and reduce self-noise.

The result is cleaner reception and improved performance in challenging RF environments, while maintaining compatibility with Digital Hybrid transmitters and existing workflows.
