Lectrosonics Discontinues Single-Block Belt-Pack Transmitters

Lectrosonics has confirmed the discontinuation of their single-block belt-pack transmitters. The following models are affected:
- SMb & SMDb (Export only)
- SMQV & SMV (all variants)
- WM (all variants)
- Several long-standing models are affected, with limited stock available until sold out
To support customers during this transition, we’ve made current clearance pricing available while stock lasts.
If you’re considering adding to existing inventory or completing a fleet, we recommend getting in touch sooner rather than later.
What’s not changing
Several key Lectrosonics products remain unaffected by this update:
- IFBT4 transmitters (all variants) remain in production
- Newer Hybrid Digital transmitters, including SMWB and SMDWB, continue to be manufactured
- For water-tight applications, the digital DSSM range remains available
Servicing and ongoing support
We’ve got your pro audio servicing covered here at Gencom. Lectrosonics will continue to support and service single-block transmitters while parts are available. Warranty units are covered as usual, with repair, exchange, or replacement options available for out-of-warranty units depending on the fault.
