New Zealand Update: Lectrosonics Firmware Now Adds Record & Transmit

Big News for NZ Sound Pros: Record & Transmit Simultaneously
Lectrosonics has released a firmware update for select transmitters, unlocking simultaneous recording and transmitting for markets outside of the United States, including New Zealand.
From August 26, 2025, all new DBSM, DBSMD, DPR-A, SMWB, and SMDWB units shipped into NZ will come with this feature pre-installed.
If you already own one of these transmitters with the /X, /E01, /E06, or /E09 market identifiers (including DPR/E01), you can update in the field with the downloadable firmware from Lectrosonics.
⚠️ Important for NZ users:

If your unit doesn’t have E01, E06, or X in the model number, it may need to go back for service. Please let us know if this is of interest to you.
