Clear-Com introduces ARC with EHX v15

Clear-Com is taking a new approach to intercom configuration with EHX v15 and ARC, its new Access, Resources & Configuration technology for Eclipse HX.

Traditionally, intercom users and configurations have been closely tied to specific hardware and physical ports. ARC breaks that connection, introducing a more software-defined, persona-driven architecture. Users can securely log in, select their role, and access the appropriate configuration across compatible panels, beltpacks, and virtual clients.

System resources can also be dynamically allocated according to demand, helping make more efficient use of available audio processing and port capacity while providing additional resilience. Configurations are defined through Roles, which determine keys, labels, audio levels, and logic without being permanently tied to a particular frame or piece of hardware.

The result is an Eclipse HX environment that can adapt more easily as users, productions, and locations change. For larger, distributed, and increasingly IP-based productions, ARC provides a practical way to increase flexibility and scale while reducing some of the traditional hardware constraints around intercom.
