Cinegy pushes software-defined ST 2110 workflows further

Cinegy’s NAB Show 2026 presence reinforced the company’s long-standing focus on software-defined broadcast infrastructure, with continued development around ST 2110, SRT, cloud deployment, and high-density IP workflows.

A major talking point was Cinegy’s work toward enabling applications to utilise Mellanox network cards directly for ST 2110 and SRT processing. By offloading handling to the network interface layer, broadcasters can reduce reliance on dedicated hardware converters and build more efficient, scalable IP environments using standard server infrastructure.

Across the platform, Cinegy showcased a tightly integrated ecosystem of IP-native tools. Cinegy Air PRO delivers multi-channel software playout for both on-prem and cloud environments, while Cinegy Route acts as the central orchestration layer for ST 2110, SRT, and NDI streams. Cinegy Multiviewer continues to push scalable monitoring by decoding IP streams directly from the network without requiring traditional hardware frames.

The result is a highly flexible approach to modern broadcast operations. From ingest and transcoding through to routing, playout, and monitoring, Cinegy’s direction is clearly centred around reducing hardware dependency while making large-scale IP workflows more practical to deploy and manage.
