Blackmagic Design expands its growing ST 2110 ecosystem

Blackmagic Design used NAB Show 2026 to further expand its growing native IP 2110 ecosystem, continuing the industry-wide move toward fully networked production infrastructure.

Their latest developments build on a rapidly growing portfolio of 2110 IP converters and workflow tools designed to transport video, audio, tally, talkback, and camera control over standard Ethernet networks. The goal is clear: simplify live production infrastructure while reducing the complexity traditionally associated with large-scale SDI routing.

One of Blackmagic’s strengths in this space is accessibility. While ST 2110 has historically been associated with high-end broadcast facilities, Blackmagic is helping bring IP workflows into a much broader range of productions, including smaller studios, live events, corporate production, and education environments.

The momentum around ST 2110 at NAB this year was impossible to ignore. Once the AI buzz settled down, IP infrastructure remained one of the dominant conversations across the show floor, and Blackmagic’s expanding ecosystem shows just how quickly these workflows are becoming mainstream.
