ARRI continues to expand the creative options available to production teams with Omnibar, its new family of compact, modular linear LED lights. Launched around NAB 2026, Omnibar combines ARRI’s full-spectrum light quality with a portable format designed to go from location and studio lighting to creative in-camera applications.
Available in two-foot and four-foot versions, Omnibar features built-in batteries, IP65 weather protection, interchangeable magnetic optics, integrated magnets, and multiple mounting options. Individual pixel zones can also be controlled independently, allowing the fixtures to move beyond straightforward illumination into effects, practical lighting, and other creative applications.
That versatility is really where Omnibar gets interesting. A single fixture can provide a compact portable light source, become part of the shot itself, or be combined with additional units to create larger lighting installations. Control options include wired DMX, wireless CRMX, Bluetooth, and ARRI’s Omnibar app, while the Omnibase power and data hub allows multiple fixtures to be daisy-chained for more complex setups.
If you visited Gencom at Integrate Sydney, you may have already seen Omnibar on our stand alongside the ARRI ALEXA 35. Together, they provided a good illustration of ARRI’s expanding ecosystem and the increasing range of tools available to production teams looking for greater creative control, both behind and in front of the camera.
