This trailer was the fourth digital OB trailer project for Gencom. It was designed in conjunction with TVNZ staff in a close team manner, and the outcome reflected that close team effort with an excellent facility.

The vehicle is a maximum road size, two axle semi-trailer with Productions, VTR, Audio, Vision Control and Engineering areas.

This was built from all new equipment that was carefully chosen to integrate well together.

The main items were: Sony 8000 vision switcher, Quartz Q256 SDI router, Image Video Tally System, Ensemble and GVG glue and Euphonics digital audio desk. All of these items are IT dependent and thus the Trailer has a high component of IT based systems and infrastructure.
